Our mission statement: Become extremely valuable to someone
I was thinking the other day about what my wife said to me. She said ‘Honey, what exactly does eflexonics do?’ I thought about it for a moment, and realized that I really didn’t have a powerful, dynamic and elegant way of telling our viewers and listeners what we do, so I needed to get the message out to clear up any confusion. Eflexonics was created with two totally distinct and separate areas that help business owners.
(a) Work well with the latest technology that is available, and
(b) Showing small and medium sized business owners how to use video, audio and text blogs and podcast’s as well as new media to grow their business.
So, let me break down my explanation of the mission statement. Become extremely valuable to someone means, if this business model is going to work, and work well, I must become extremely valuable to my clients, perspective clients, and all of those around me that I do business with. The term ‘someone’ may sound very odd to you, but it really means that I must duplicate being extremely valuable to other areas of my life. I need to be extremely valuable to my Wife, children, grand children and friends. I must continually be extremely valuable to those I work with, those who interact with me and those who want to get to know me, because if your extremely valuable in your business life, but just mediocre in your family life, it sets up an imbalance, and that means that one area of my life does not integrate into other areas that are just as important.
Now that I have shared with you the mission statement, exactly how do I intend to become ‘extremely valuable’ to you. That’s when I roll up my sleeve’s and do what I love to do, and part of that is research. I worked in the tech industry for over 11 years and fell in love with what technology does for us every day. Realizing that most business owners just don’t have the time to do allot of research as to whats on the cutting edge of tech, and how to integrate it into your business model, I surf the web and ask other business owners whats working for them, and whats not. Then, I do a ‘combo’ blog cast that combines a video, a text based blog and pictures that goes in-depth to explain as many features and benefits that are important and usable to you.
That research based model and podcast platform happens on the ‘eflexonics’ website. I offer part of my program for either free, or a very reasonable price in my home city of Abbotsford British Columbia.
I have built a modest sized broadcast studio with professional grade audio and video equipment in my home, and extend a unique offer to small and medium businesses in my immediate area. I invite them to use my studio to start them off with their very own podcast show, and in turn host that video on my website at: www.abbotsfordsmallbusiness.com
This system works for both sides of the coin. My business is helping businesses create their own podcast shows, and instead of just talking about it, I invite them into my studio to complete a show or series of shows and host it on my site. The small to medium sized business owner wins because he or she is offered the use of the equipment for a very attractive price, and I win because their videos are on my site showing an example of what I can further offer the client and drives traffic to my website.
We want to personally thank you for coming over to our web site and having a look. If you have a ‘scoop’ on technology that you feel will help a local business, or, if you have a service or goods based business in the Fraser Valley/Vancouver area and want to be on our show, let us know.
